Our First Day-Designing our Learning Space Togther
Our first day!
We excitedly came into the classroom to find... all the chairs and tables up against the wall! We thought it was strange at first, then we found out that we would get to help design what our learning space was going to look like this year!
We got busy thinking about what we needed and what we liked in a learning area!
After designing with our groups, we shared our learning with the whole class. Some common ideas were sitting in groups, having lots of space, sitting with friends sometimes and sitting with other people sometimes, flexible seating and keeping the classroom a cooler temperature. Here are our possible classroom layouts:
Here is what we decided on for now. We will work like this, with flexible seating, for a while and then make adjustments when we feel like we need to.
